“Today I have been following a man around Manila. I am carrying my knife. Every where he went, I was a few steps behind him. I planned to kill him. I followed him into the PICC where you were speaking. I was ready to stab him when the lights went out. But as I heard you preaching from the Bible, a voice spoke to my heart, and I could not stab him. Then you asked the audience to accept Jesus and I decided to join the people down the front. Please Sir, let me be baptized.”
This letter was passed to me after one of our meetings at the Philippine International Convention Center. It was one of hundreds of letters I received. This happened in 1984. Our prayer is, “DO IT AGAIN LORD, DO IT AGAIN.”
