These are some of the most amazing and thrilling words ever spoken!

The Old Testament gives us the prophecy from the prophet Isaiah in chapter 53, and it reads:

He was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so He did not open His mouth.   He poured out His life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors.  For He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Then we come to the New Testament, and we read in Luke 23: 44-46:

Luke 24 reads:

On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb.  When they went into the tomb they found it empty. Then, behold, two angels appeared and said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?"

HE IS NOT HERE, FOR HE IS RISEN!
